UK. Alpha Retail recently opened two new stores at Exeter International Airport. Landside there is now an enhanced news and gift shop also selling snacks and confectionery ‘World News’; and airside the refurbished tax free shop ‘Alpha Airport Shopping’.
Within the Alpha Airport Shopping store is a separate Alpha Duty Free area where anyone travelling to a non-EU country (including Jersey) can shop for cigarettes and spirits at duty free prices.
Alpha Airport Shopping offers fragrances, skincare, make-up and designer sunglasses, including Chanel, Lancome, Armani, Gucci, RayBan and Oakley.
Alpha Retail managing director Steve Buckley commented: “We have had a long and successful relationship with Exeter International Airport for many years and the recent developments have given us the opportunity to refurbish our stores to create new improved shopping environments.”
