Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail (GTR) has launched St-Rémy VSOP 90 Proof as a limited edition exclusive to Dubai International Airport (with Dubai Duty Free) for the rest of this year.
St-Rémy, an award-winning French brandy, is a blend of wines from leading vineyards in France. It is distilled and aged in cellars deep in the Chateaux de La Loire Valley by Martine Pain, the first female Cellar Master in brandy and Cellar Master of St-Rémy for the last 20 years.
St-Rémy VSOP High Proof is a new addition to this collection, which includes VSOP and XO expressions, and is expected to blaze a trail for St-Rémy in global travel retail, Rémy Cointreau GTR said.

Decades spent aging in small oak barrels have lent it wood aromas with hints of leather and tobacco, said the brand owner. The light flavours of vanilla and dried fruits, which bring sweetness, “balance its powerful alcoholic strength and create a fine, well-balanced product with exceptional length in the mouth”, it added.
Amber in colour, highlighted by golden hues, it is presented in a golden sleeve with its VSOP 90 Proof credentials on the label. This new limited edition will be showcased in a sleek branded display unit to provide maximum visibility.

The St-Rémy VSOP High Proof will remain exclusive to Dubai Duty Free for the remainder of 2012 after which it will be launched elsewhere.
