Nuance-Watson (Singapore) and FIFA have teamed up to begin the countdown to next year’s World Cup


SINGAPORE. Nuance-Watson (Singapore) and partner the FIFA Official Store have marked the year-long run-in to the football World Cup in South Africa by unveiling a countdown clock in the store and a special shopping promotion.

The “˜Countdown Lucky Draw’ promotion will culminate in a draw for a pair of tickets to the World Cup in 2010. It runs from 11 June to 1 September. Customers who purchase S$30 or more worth of goods can take part in the draw.

The FIFA Official Store in Changi Airport Terminal 3 is the world’s first FIFA Official Store. It opened its door in January 2008 under the partnership of Global Brands Group and Nuance-Watson (Singapore), and offers licensed World Cup merchandise and FIFA fashion ranges.

Global Brands Group CEO and Co-Chair Mark Matheny said: “FIFA World Cup fans around the world are already gearing up one year ahead of the event, evidenced by the exceptional rate at which event tickets are being purchased.

“I am certain that fans will be equally excited with the range of Official Licensed Event Products available in the FIFA Official Store Global Brands Group will also be working closely with supply partners to offer more variety of event merchandise as we countdown to the world’s most anticipated single sporting event.”
