Nyetimber toasts Heathrow’s 80th anniversary with TREX gift box and Terminal 5 pop-up

Nyetimber has opened what it describes as the first standalone retail space for an English sparkling wine brand at Heathrow Airport, offering tastings and gifts with purchase to travellers in Terminal 5

UK. English sparkling wine producer Nyetimber has partnered with Heathrow Airport to launch a travel retail-exclusive (TREX) limited-edition gift box celebrating the travel hub’s 80th anniversary.

The anniversary gift box features Nyetimber’s flagship Classic Cuvée Multi-Vintage and features a commemorative design incorporating a Union Jack, an aeroplane motif and Heathrow’s 80th anniversary logo. The blue packaging reflects the colour palette of the bottle within.

Nyetimber has opened a dedicated pop-up boutique in Heathrow Terminal 5, the first standalone retail space for an English sparkling wine brand at the airport. It is located in the British Airways Departures area and will run until 26 August.

The animation showcases Nyetimber’s Classic Cuvée, limited-edition English Summer Rosé, Tillington Single Vineyard and the prestige 1086 by Nyetimber collection, with regular wine tastings throughout the day.

In addition, travellers purchasing two or more bottles will receive an exclusive Nyetimber bottle stopper as a gift with purchase.

The TREX release and supporting activation forms part of Heathrow’s ongoing programme of retail initiatives celebrating its 80th anniversary. According to Nyetimber, the initiative also highlights the growing presence of premium English sparkling wine at the key UK hub.

The Nyetimber Classic Cuvée Limited-Edition Heathrow 80th Birthday Edition is now available at Heathrow and can also be pre-ordered online, priced at £33.99.
