On Location: Majorica reimagines its pearl heritage for a new generation

Irene Revilla was joined by Majorica Export Area Manager EMEA, APAC & LATAM José Carrera at the Madrid event

The Moodie Davitt Report Managing Director Irene Revilla was on location in Madrid on 20 October for the unveiling of pearl specialist Majorica’s refreshed brand identity and retail concept.

The event also celebrated the company’s new direction under CEO Isabelle Aberman, appointed to the leadership role on 1 October 2025.

The refresh encompasses an updated logo, a new colour palette and more premium packaging. Majorica is evolving its offer beyond traditional pearl jewellery, focusing on modern, versatile designs aimed at younger generations.

The new identity is being introduced across selected existing stores and new openings in key fashion destinations, including Palma, Madrid, Valencia and Paris.

The retail concept and revamped brand identity draws on Majorica’s Mallorcan origins, combining references to the island’s traditional architecture, Mediterranean light and local materials.

Clean architectural lines contrast with the softer forms of the jewellery, keeping the collections at the centre of the retail experience.

A defining feature is the handcrafted cement tile cladding developed exclusively for Majorica with Huguet Mallorca. It features a gradient from marine blues to sandy tones which pays homage to the Mediterranean Sea and the island’s landscape. ✈
