QATAR. This weekend’s Formula 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix 2025 offered a superb opportunity for Qatar Duty Free to show how its ‘Experiencentricity’ philosophy is being translated into high-octane activity on- and off-airport.
And it delivered spectacularly for the many guests from the track to Hamad International Airport, as these images taken by The Moodie Davitt Report President Dermot Davitt over the weekend demonstrate.

We’ll bring you more on each area of activity – from Qatar Duty Free’s collaboration with Louis Vuitton for a luxury lounge at the Lusail International Circuit to a pan-airport F1 campaign that captures the imagination – in coming days.

And there was a lot more for Qatar Duty Free’s travel retail media and influencer guests besides, from a visit to sustainably-led sanctuary Torba Farm to the Miami vibe-inspired late-night venue Carbone Beach Club, with a standout appearance by US singer and songwriter Camila Cabello a huge highlight.

Throw in some meet-and greets with sports and other celebrities, a Formula 1 race for the ages on Sunday night, plus a money-cannot-buy foodie masterclass with renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, and you have yourself some memories that will last a lifetime. More on these exceptional experiences will follow in coming days; for now we present some pictorial highlights as F1 fever gripped Qatar. ✈
