Origins’ new Make A Difference Plus + |
Origins has created a new skin care collection aimed at addressing the needs of dry, dehydrated skin. Make A Difference Plus + is available now in the brand’s travel retail doors worldwide.
Dry skin is a common condition that affects individuals of all ages and ethnicities. According to the National Health Interview Survey, more than 81 million Americans suffer from dry skin each year.
Origins believes hydrated skin is heavily dependent on the presence of Caspase-14, an enzyme which helps skin produce and maintain critical moisture levels. Without this enzyme, skin faces regular dryness. Caspase-14 works with two additional components in skin: Fillagrin, a biological protein; and Urea, an organic compound. Together, this trio creates skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor, which helps it produce and maintain a natural reservoir of hydration.
Make A Difference Plus + features a combination of botanical and natural ingredients that work in tandem to support this Natural Moisturizing Factor. Key ingredients include Lychee and Watermelon Extracts, and Rhodocrosite (a red gemstone) to help boost moisture production.

According to Origins, after a four-week clinical study, 100% of women who applied Make A Difference Plus + Rejuvenating Moisturizer showed a significant improvement in moisture. Additionally, skin was proven to stay hydrated for 48 hours after application.
The line comprises a Rejuvenating Moisturizer, a Rejuvenating Treatment and an Ultra-Rich Rejuvenating Cream.
