BELGIUM. Overseas Distribution Company has named Peter Rubenska (pictured) as Purchase Director, effective 7 September.
Rubenska, who will head up the distributor’s Purchase Division in his new role, joined Overseas Distribution Company in 2016 and has been Supply Chain Manager since then.
The company said Rubenska will bring substantial experience of supply chain and internal practices to his new role with what is one of the leading duty free distributors active in Europe and Africa. He will also ensure Overseas Distribution Company maintains a close relationship with its supplier partners.
Overseas Distribution Company CEO Eric Demaerel said: “Peter will bring structure in the increasing complexity of purchase and will secure the future of our company.”
Rubenska added: “I am ambitious in my new role to secure Overseas Distribution Company’s future as one of the biggest distributors in duty free and to bring the company to the next level.”
The appointment of Rubenska follows the recent naming of Catherine Dejonghe as Sales Director by the distributor.
