Paradies Lagardère secures seven-year contract extension at Toronto Pearson Airport

USA. Paradies Lagardère has extended its retail contract at Toronto Pearson International Airport for a further seven years, strengthening its long-term presence at Canada’s busiest airport.

The extension covers 42 locations and includes 21 rebranded or enhanced stores alongside seven new concepts.

The expanded and refreshed programme will introduce several concepts spotlighting regional and Canadian brands.

Local flavour: Stores trading sense of place products will include Greetingsfrom Toronto (above) and Muskoka Supply Co. (below)

Shops @ The Six, Muskoka Supply Co. and Greetings from Toronto will incorporate gourmet treats and gifts from more than 30 local producers, including Totally Toronto Art, Mitchell’s Soup Co., Drip Candle Studio and The Doodle Diary.

Other concepts include Hip & Humble, a women-owned boutique making its Canadian airport debut, and Sky to Trail, an airport first which will feature outdoor lifestyle labels such as Herschel Supply Co., KÜHL, Cotopaxi, Yeti and Tentree.

Established travel retail names The Scoreboard, RELAY and iStore Express will continue to anchor key categories for sports apparel, travel essentials and electronics, respectively.
