Game on: the playful new masterbrand from Azzaro |
FRANCE. Clarins Group-owned Parfums Azzaro has unveiled a new masterbrand fragrance duo, called Twin. The black and white line features one scent for women, and one for men. The concept, which is aimed at young adults, centres around seduction and, as the strap-line declares, the idea that “love is a game”.
The fragrances are presented in curved, ergonomic opaque glass bottles, coloured white for the women’s scent and black for the men’s. They were designed by Emmanuelle Royer. The outer packaging is a matching white/black.
Three sizes are available: a 30ml “mouse-stone”, said to be ideal for travel; and larger 50ml and 80ml sprays.
Firmenich nose Annick Ménardo composed the Azzaro Twin feminine juice. It features notes of rose, peach, almond blossom, iris and musk.
The Azzaro Twin masculine juice was a joint effort between Robertet’s Sidonie Lancesseur, Richard Ibanez and Michel Almairac. It contains bergamot, green apple, mandarin, almond, patchouli, nutmeg, rosewood and sandalwood.
The advertising visual depicts models Stanimira Koleva and Olivier Saint Jours nestling together in profile with matching white “mask-like” eye make-up.
