Perfumer’s Workshop International extends its ‘niche’ Amouroud range

Perfumer’s Workshop International has unveiled two line extensions to its niche fragrance brand Amouroud, first launched last year.

Perfumer’s Workshop International Founder Donald Bauchner said: “We are continuing to see encouraging growth in the ‘niche’ fragrance category, and with retailers opening up more space for brands like Amouroud, we thought it perfect timing to introduce two new SKUs to the range. We are very excited to be launching these two new scents at TFWA AP, and we are confident that our current customers, and potential customers, will see how they fit perfectly into this market.”

Midnight Rose combines top notes of lychee and pomelo with lily and “pure red rose jewel” tones. Oud blends with labdanum and amber to offer a “magnificent scent that lingers long after midnight”.

Miel Sauvage combines notes of oud, wild honey and night blooming jasmine, with a finish of musk, patchouli and sandalwood to offer a “harmony of elegance”.

“2015 proved to be a successful year for Amouroud, with the oud-based collection seeing numerous openings throughout the Middle East and Russia, and PWI is now setting up for key European market openings in the second half of 2016. With aims to expand into the Asia market, PWI comes to TFWA AP with its focus on the first half of 2017, where it plans to encompass activities in Indonesia, Singapore, and mainland China,” the company stated.

“The Asia Pacific region is an extremely important part of our global travel retail strategy. Last year saw most of our efforts focused on the Middle East and Europe but we are now fully committed to this opportunistic region,” Bauchner concluded.
