Pilgrim adopts vintage look for Cannes – 13/09/2004

Pilgrim Autumn/Winter 2004
Pilgrim’s progress at Cannes will be boosted by elegant new designs

DENMARK. In line with the resurgence of the 50s Bloomsbury style, Danish jewellery supplier Pilgrim will showcase a range of vintage-inspired jewellery in October at TFWA in Cannes.

The Pilgrim designers are inspired by “the great divas of the 50s and 60s” and of Portobello Road where the buzzing second-hand Saturday market has inspired generations of London-based designers and fashion students.

Enamel, glass stones, acrylic stones, freshwater stones and semi-precious stones are set in nickel-free alloy coated with copper or palladium, and then gilded or silver-plated using genuine gold or silver.

Colours complement the current clothes trends, from petroleum blue, wine red, olive green to dark grey.

Pilgrim launches a new collection four times a year. The catalogue is launched twice a year, available only to businesses. The price list is in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, British and Euro currencies.

Items are packaged and sold in a minimum of three pieces per style for every colour, four pieces for rings.

Gift boxes, printed silk wrapping paper, jewellery displays and shop-in-shop units can also be purchased from Pilgrim.

Pilgrim will be exhibiting at Stand J3 Red Village at TFWA in Cannes.
