Danish jewellery and eyewear brand Pilgrim is set to debut its 2025 travel retail-exclusive jewellery and sunglasses collections at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Blue Village, F17).
Rooted in Pilgrim’s Scandinavian design ethos, the Imagination collection draws inspiration from the natural world.
The line of seasonal classics includes pearls, handcrafted details, bows and crystal stones, offering a curated range of rings, necklaces, bracelets and various earring styles. The 80-piece collection will be available in global travel retail by early spring 2025.
Commenting on the new collection, Pilgrim Head of Travel Retail Louise Rohde, said: “Pilgrim encourages an extraordinary everyday for every soul who wants to join our journey and wear jewellery to express themselves.
“Free from limitations and box-thinking, our universe is a place of freedom empowering everyone to be exactly who they want to be.”
Founded in 1983 by Annemette Markvad, Pilgrim is a family-run Danish company that produces gold and silver-plated earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. The brand’s accessible price point ranges from €20-€100 for jewellery and €50-€60 for eyewear.
Pilgrim is committed to sustainability, with over 70% of its jewellery made from at least 75% recycled materials. The brand’s sunglasses, primarily made from recycled plastic, all feature polarised lenses with UV400 protection.
The brand’s travel retail network extends to Europe, USA, Middle East, Canada and New Zealand. Pilgrim recently secured listings with 3Sixty at Newark Liberty International Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and is continuing to expand its presence in the channel.
Rohde added: “Pilgrim is founded on a philosophy of spontaneity, allowing shoppers to express themselves. We empower Gen Z travellers to enjoy unplanned purchases of jewellery and sunglasses with long-lasting pleasure. We look forward to being in Cannes again this year and meeting with existing and potential customers to discuss future collaborations.”
Pilgrim has been nominated for the Frontier Awards 2024 for a pair of recycled sunglasses, further underlining its commitment to sustainability and innovation. ✈
