THAILAND. Plaza Premium Group has entered the Thai market with the opening of two adjoining hospitality facilities at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The dual openings – under the Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge brands – mark a significant step in the airport hospitality company’s rapid Southeast Asia expansion, and introduce two differentiated lounge propositions for international departing and transit passengers at the key regional hub.

Both facilities – which can be accessed by passengers regardless of airline or class of travel – are located airside on the third floor of Concourse G, close to Gate G1.
Plaza Premium First spans 212sq m and accommodates up to 51 guests, while the much larger Plaza Premium Lounge covers 578sq m with capacity for 98 travellers.

The Bangkok opening extends the international footprint of the Plaza Premium First concept, which made its debut in Hong Kong in 2018.
The premium format has since been introduced at locations including Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Macau, Vancouver, Phnom Penh, Rome and, most recently, Dallas Fort Worth.

At Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Plaza Premium First offers personalised concierge service alongside an à la carte dining proposition featuring gourmet dishes, signature cocktails and a selection of spirits & wine.
The space includes quieter areas designed for relaxation, private meetings and work, with the overall design and service proposition incorporating elements of Thai hospitality and culture.

The adjacent Plaza Premium Lounge targets a broader passenger base and places a strong emphasis on local food and culture. Its dining offer includes regional Thai dishes and live cooking stations, complemented by dedicated spaces for solo travellers, families and business passengers.
Plaza Premium Group Founder and CEO Song Hoi See said, “The launch of Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport reflects our global direction of expanding award-winning airport hospitality into key international gateways.

“Bangkok represents a critical hub in Southeast Asia – defined by warmth, flavour and an unmistakable sense of place.
“By introducing our dual-lounge concept at BKK, we empower travellers to choose the experience that best suits their journey while enjoying authentic Thai hospitality until the moment they depart.”

Plaza Premium Group owns a portfolio of 14 brands spanning airport lounges, transit hotels, passenger services, dining and digital services. Its operations now extend across 600 international and domestic airports in 150 countries, serving around 24 million passengers annually. ✈
