RUSSIA. Duty free retailer Port Alliance, with the support of Gebr Heinemann, has opened a new 150sq m luxury fashion and accessories outlet in Moscow Sheremetyevo Terminal Two.
The shop features brands such as Burberry, Ferragamo, Hugo Boss, Porsche Design and Breitling plus other sunglasses and watch brands.
Gebr Heinemann Head of Russia, CIS Region, Baltic States and Mongolia Pierre Viarnaud told The Moodie Report: “We believe that the luxury fashion and accessories product category has enormous potential and look forward to the reaction of the travellers who will pass through the shop.”

The German company has extensive interests in Russia both as a retailer and as a supplier to duty free operations. Most recently it was awarded the contract for two stores at Moscow Domodedovo Airport, the city’s largest international gateway.
When the stores open next year it will be the company’s first involvement at Domodedovo. It will operate a 140sq m outlet on the first floor and a 300sq m store on the second floor of the Departures area.
