JORDAN. Airport International Group (AIG), a consortium of local, regional and international partners including Aéroports de Paris Management, has announced it is seeking non-exclusive Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) regarding a number of commercial opportunities at the new terminal complex at Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan.
The new 100,000sq m passenger terminal is scheduled to open in summer 2012 and will have the capacity to handle up to nine million passengers per year in the first phase, and up to 12 million passengers annually in a later second phase.
AIG confirmed it is creating several commercial opportunities within the new terminal, including:
• Car parking and valet services
• Private and common use Lounges
• Food & beverage
• Advertising
• Car rental
• Exchange, banks, and ATM services
• Transit hotel and facilities
• Speciality retail and additional services.
Interested parties are invited to express their interest through a non-exclusive RFQ to identify qualified prospect business partners who will be shortlisted and invited to participate in the Request for Proposal stage.
