Mondottica has hailed the performance to date of Ted Baker’s latest eyewear range, rating the SUN24 line-up as one of the brand’s strongest collections to date.
The British brand’s 2024 range of sunglasses for both men and women is featured in all UK airports and in selected locations in Southern Europe with Avolta and Lagardère Travel Retail. Ted Baker sunglasses are also listed with Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries and inflight with selected airlines.

According to Mondottica, Ted Baker’s SUN24 eyewear collection builds on the brand’s dedication to forward-facing designs and bold patterns.
For women, oversized ultra-feminine shapes with glamorous 1970’s references mix earthy hues with pastels and softly gradated lenses, hints of pearl and a mix of seasonal prints.

Amara in Gloss Crystal Purple introduces a distinctive floral-inspired double layered coloured acetate in clear purple, with Ted Baker signatures on metal temples and ‘T’ logo on the temple tips while Catrina offers a Solid Black style with a bold square frame featuring a bevelled front with high-definition prints inside the temples.
Rounding up the women’s collection, Evie is available in a Gloss Wine colourway. The hexagonally shaped frame is crafted from gradated acetate, with bespoke acetate temples in tortoiseshell infusing a mix of pinks and tortoiseshell flecks. Evie also features Ted Baker branding on the lenses.
For men, luxe-look vintage styling with thicker profiles and strong bevelling dominates. The SUN24 line-up, with its wide temples and mixed metal details, includes Garret in Gloss Black, with a chunky acetate frame with linear lines and a black and white gingham print lamination inside the frame. Ted Baker ‘T’ logos are placed inside each hinge as additional branding points.

‘Modern vintage’, Alfie in Black provides a contemporary update of a classic Clubmaster design and includes a textured nose bridge in a muted, aged gold colouration and a bespoke temple design. Bret in a Crystal Horn Cognac is a bold style which a thick 6mm acetate frame and honey coloured graduated front.
Mondottica National Account Manager Travel Retail & Sunglasses Louise Porte said: “Ted Baker is Mondottica’s best-selling range in travel retail and listed in airport stores, on ferries and inflight.
“This quintessentially British brand is famed for its quirky yet commercial fashion offering, top-quality design detailing, and distinctive use of pattern and colour to create exceptional, individual eyewear. Ted Baker eyewear is as inventive and original as it is upbeat and vibrant – just like the brand itself – which makes for a perfect fit in the travel retail channel.”
According to Porte, Ted Baker as a brand is “aspirational yet still attainable, which is why we have seen such success with it in global travel retail”. “The target market is a type of person rather than an age group and Ted Baker can be an entry level product in one retailer and an exit level in another,” she added.
