FRANCE. More than 20 products from different brands and categories have been named Bronze, Silver and Gold winners of the first Travel Retail Go for Gold Awards.
As reported, the awards were launched by former Travel Retail Training and Inflight Sales Person of the Year and Go for Gold Founder Christine Martin.
In lieu of a traditional ceremony, award certificates were instead handed to the winners on the opening day of the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
The accolades were awarded to those who have demonstrated excellence in four key areas – product design and development, customer touchpoints, doing the right thing, and evidence of success. The awards are solely for products being showcased at the TFWA World Exhibition and the people behind their success.
There are three award levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold – and, unlike other awards, there is no overall winner. The entries are scored by the product category judge and their overall score determines the level of award.
