TÜRKİYE. Airport hospitality specialist TAV Operation Services (TAV OS) has unveiled its new lifestyle-led Primeclass lounge at Ankara Esenboğa Airport.
The renovated and expanded 380sq m space in the Domestic Terminal spans two floors, with spaces for varying travel needs, a prominent place for local art plus a menu inspired by Anatolian cuisine. It has capacity for 135 guests.

TAV Airports Holding Chief Commercial Officer and TAV OS CEO Aude Ferrand said, “The opening at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, operated by TAV Airports, marks an important step in our global growth and premium hospitality strategy.
“Our new Primeclass concept reimagines lounges as lifestyle spaces where travellers can experience design, local culture and personalised service. Beyond the lounge itself, it reflects our vision of supporting airports in enhancing the overall guest experience through seamless, hospitality-driven journeys.”
She added, “Ankara is the first location in Türkiye to introduce the concept, and we will continue to bring it to our global network, adapting it to the local identity of each destination. By combining hospitality expertise with integrated traveller services, we aim to create greater value for both passengers and airport partners.”

The new lounge concept translates Primeclass’s ‘The Place to Be You’ mantra and philosophy into its design and guest experience.
First introduced at Sofia Airport in spring 2026, it is planned for further locations, including Paris Orly Airport. The company aims to roll out the concept across its global network by the end of 2027, with each lounge retaining a shared brand philosophy and experience framework while expressing the character of its destination.
Shaped around the traveller
The layout brings together dedicated spaces for working, dining, socialising and relaxation areas, while a library offers a selection of books on design, travel, lifestyle and local culture.

The bar is located on the entrance level and the buffet on the lower floor, with refreshments available on both levels. Work tables with power sockets, custom-designed side tables with movable tops, and lockable storage for luggage and personal belongings provide practical comfort.
An accessible reception counter and toilet, together with a lift connecting the two floors, support guests with accessibility needs.
Local identity
The design interprets Primeclass’s global brand identity through materials, textures and spatial planning. The brand’s signature terracotta colour is paired with natural and warm materials to create a welcoming interior, said TAV OS.

A Drop Paper ceiling installation above the bar and an acoustic felt ceiling on the lower floor are among the distinctive design details. Durable materials and waste separation practices support the lounge’s approach to responsible hospitality.
Art is integral to space and its connection to local culture, noted the company. Works by local artists offer contemporary interpretations of traditional Turkish art, “bringing cultural heritage into the lounge and giving the global concept a distinctive local expression”.
Anatolian flavours
The menu reflects the same philosophy as the design combining Primeclass’s global hospitality standards with the culinary character of the destination. At Ankara Esenboğa, Anatolian ingredients and traditional flavours are reinterpreted for a contemporary menu.
Seasonal produce shapes the selection with grains, pulses, root vegetables, fresh herbs and dried fruit among the featured ingredients. Plant-forward options, shared plates and light snacks available throughout the day offer flexibility for different tastes.
The concept is guided by four Primeclass principles: Staying Tuned, Collective Experience, Human Touch and Better Future. Together, they reflect the brand’s commitment to evolving traveller needs ,cultural connections, personalised service and responsible hospitality, said the company.
Primeclass’s vision encompasses the entire airport journey. Through complementary services such as Meet & Greet, Fast Track and private transfers, the brand supports travellers through their experience, from arrival at the airport to boarding.
“By connecting these touchpoints through a hospitality lens, Primeclass helps create more seamless, personalised and stress-free journeys while supporting airports in their efforts to elevate guest satisfaction and service quality,” said TAV OS.
The Ankara Esenboğa Primeclass Domestic Lounge welcomes passengers travelling in all cabin classes. Access is available through partner loyalty programmes, individual reservations or walk-in entry.
In addition to lounge access, Primeclass offers Meet & Greet, Fast Track and private transfer services at Ankara Esenboğa Airport.
TAV OS added, “By combining these services within a single hospitality ecosystem, Primeclass serves as a strong solution partner for airports seeking to enhance the passenger journey, increase service differentiation and create greater value across the travel experience.” ✈
