ITALY. Italian fashion brand Roberto Cavalli has launched its 2008 Spring Summer collection in its airport outlets across Italy.
Founded in 1960 in Florence, Italy, the brand is distributed in over 50 countries through the Roberto Cavalli showrooms in Milan and New York.

The designer fashion brand made its travel retail debut in 2007 with the Just Cavalli line of underwear and beachwear and Roberto Cavalli accessories, which includes hats, scarves, gloves and neckties.
A more affordable Cavalli line, the Just Cavalli concept has been developed in airports across Italy such as Malpensa International Airport and Linate Airport in Milan, Rome-Fiumicino International Airport, Venice Marco Polo Airport and Treviso Airport.

Other Italian airports which carry the line include Bari International Airport, Olbia-Costa Smeralda Airport, Bologna Airport, and Federico Fellini International Airport in Rimini.

According to the company, its rapid expansion is in line with its strategic positioning of monobrand boutiques in luxury resorts and within prime locations all over the world.
Roberto Cavalli boutiques are present in cities such as Saint Tropez, Venice, Paris, New York, Milan, Rome, Marbeilla, Capri, Florence, Mexico City, Miami, Las Vegas and Taipei.
The label is also present in upscale department stores, including Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Harrods and Printemps.
