FRANCE. Société de Distribution Aéroportuaire, the joint venture between Aéroports de Paris (AdP) and Lagardère Travel Retail, has opened the first ever Victoria’s Secret store in France. The 130sq m outlet is located at Paris Orly Airport West Terminal.
Half of the store is devoted to fragrances & cosmetics, while the other half stocks underwear and accessories such as purses, bags and cosmetic bags.
For the Paris location, the store concept has been “enhanced and personalised,” noted AdP. Features include a ‘boudoir’ area where passengers receive a private welcome and are presented with a capsule collection of key pieces and photographs signed by the brand’s “˜angels’.
Société de Distribution Aéroportuaire (SDA) manages over 130 shops across 22,300sq m of space in Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. In 2014, SDA turnover reached €699 million (+3.9% on 2013).
