Sisley introduces new mascara and concealer to the travel retail channel

Upscale beauty house Sisley has unveiled two new eye products: So Intense Mascara and Phyto Cernes Éclat (eye concealer). Both were introduced this month to the global travel retail channel.

So Intense thickening and strengthening mascara is said to boost volume and fortify lashes, improving their length and thickness in just four weeks. The formula features a new vitamin peptide that stimulates the multiplication of keratinocytes in the lash root, to visibly increase lash length and thickness. It also improves lash anchorage in the dermis to slow down lash loss during make-up removal.

After four weeks, clinical tests showed that lashes were +25% longer and +26% thicker in diameter, the brand maintains.

So Intense Mascara comes complete with a high-tech, patented comb brush, designed to capture each lash at its base, stretching and curling them for an ultra-volumising effect. Three shades are available: Deep Black, Deep Brown and Deep Blue. The recommended UK domestic price point is £58.

Phyto Cernes Éclat is described as a new skin care treatment specially designed for the eye contour area. It offers “a complete and visible dual action against dark circles and puffiness”, according to Sisley.

The tinted concealer is said to instantly camouflage dark circles and shadows; reduce puffiness and signs of fatigue; and visually smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. The fragrance-free formula features three plant extracts which improve the microcirculation, protect the capillary membranes and increase capillary resistance. They are extract of red vine, extract of arnica flower and gingko biloba.

Phyto Cernes Éclat is presented in a 15ml portable tube with a metal application tip which should be pressed gently into the skin before product application, for a decongesting, cooling effect. (The concealer can even be stored in the refrigerator to increase efficacy.) The product itself has an applicator brush, for optimum results.

Three shades are available; pinky beige (for fair/very fair skin); peach (for fair skin); and apricot (for olive skin). The recommended UK domestic price point is £38.

In other news, to celebrate the launch of its new Botanical D-Tox detoxifying night treatment, Sisley will introduce a pop-up skin D-Tox suite within Selfridge’s Beauty Hall in London, from 21 February to 6 March.

Customers will be invited to relax and enjoy an in-depth skin care consultation from one of Sisley’s specialist skincare experts, and discover the new Botanical D-Tox treatment. They can also enjoy a complimentary, bespoke Skin D-Tox juice, created fresh each morning by Radiance Juices, especially for Sisley.
