US. Smashbox Cosmetics has unveiled its Fall 2010 make-up collection, called Masquerade. The line is described as a fantasy of illusion, intrigue, mystery and desire. It will begin rolling out from August.
A key item is the Masquerade Eye Shadow Palette (US$35). It contains shades of matte soft peach, shimmering black plum, matte taupe, metallic khaki, shimmering gold, bronze, metallic cabernet, shimmering navy and matte bone, organised in contemporary trios.

Also new for eyes is Liquid Liner & Lash Overlay (US$19), in Teal and Bronze. The two-in-one formula allows consumers to line their eyes and then sweep the specially designed rod over a coat of mascara to “tip” the ends of the lashes with a matching colour statement.
New products for the face include Creamy Cheek Color & Brush (US$29). Formulated with antioxidant vitamin E, this gives cheeks a “just blushed” glow. The formula should be applied with fingers over the apples of the cheeks, and blended with the brush for an easy pop of colour.
To illuminate the face, Smashbox has created Baked Fusion Soft Lights Palette in Illusion (US$32). Containing shades of Champagne, soft gold and rose gold, this is said to deliver a lit-from-within glow. It is suitable for use on cheeks, nose, forehead and décollété.
New shades (Reveal and Disguise) of Smashbox’s Lip Enhancing Gloss (US$19) complete the new collection.
