Cruise & ferry company and travel retailer Tallink Grupp today launched its new Tallink Ekspress webshop, with a collection centre in Tallinn city centre and home delivery options in Estonia. A Tallink Ekspress retail store, planned at Tallinn’s Balti Jaam train station, will open once current restrictions are eased.
The offer includes food & beverage essentials but consumers can also buy beauty, fashion, confectionery and toys from the Tallink Duty Free range (www.shopping.tallink.com).
Purchases made via Tallink Ekspress can be picked up contact-free from the shop’s pick-up centre at 19 Uus-Sadama Str, Tallinn. People from Tallinn and Viimsi county can also order purchases to their homes using Tallink Takso taxi service delivery, priced at €4.90. Orders placed before 6pm are guaranteed to be delivered on the same day.
“Even though we plan to open Tallink Ekspress shop in the Balti Jaam waiting pavilion building as soon as the restrictions allow us to do so, the swiftly changed shopping habits of customers and steep growth in the figures of shopping via the Internet, have presented us with the opportunity to open the Tallink Ekspress as a webshop already today,” said Tallink Grupp Head of Onshore Retail Katre Kõvask.
“We hope that this way, we can offer a solution for people’s most essential need at the present moment – which is contactless purchase and delivery of foodstuffs. In addition, we hope that products which were a hit among our customers in our onboard stores will find a welcome reception and their deserved place also in the online shopping baskets of our Tallink Ekspress customers,” added Kõvask.
