CROATIA. TAV Airports subsidiary BTA has unveiled details of its food & beverage offer at Zagreb Franjo Tuñman Airport’s newly-opened terminal.
TAV is part of a consortium (which also includes Aéroports de Paris Management) that operates the airport.

Airside in international departures is gastro bar Brewmark, coffee shop Caffè Nero, walk-through food court concept Spread, and passenger lounge Prime Class.
Brewmark (pictured below) offers a range of international premium beers both on tap and bottled, as well as a cocktail list combining old and new drinks. The outlet offers a “light and refreshing” pub-style menu featuring freshly cooked snacks, chicken wings, burger, pizza and salad choices.

Passengers can choose from a range of street food items and local delicacies at Spread (below). These include oven-baked pizzas, hamburgers, freshly grilled meats and vegetables, as well as grab & go options such as salads and sandwiches.

Facilities at Prime Class Lounge (below) include self-service buffet options, wireless internet access, a business corner with laptops, TVs, newspapers and magazines, and massage chairs.

Landside in international departures is POM, which serves made-to-order juices, smoothies, fruit bowls, wheat grass shots, sugar-free ice cream and sorbet variations, chia and muesli pots.

Cakes&Bakes, also located landside in international departures, offers a range of baked goods and a selection of cakes and desserts.

Landside in international arrivals is another Caffè Nero coffee outlet, as well as Antonia, which offers a variety of home-made natural ice creams, espresso and a selection of pastries and dessert items.

Convenience store concept Needstop is located airside in domestic departures. It offers a selection of everyday products, including cold and hot sandwiches, toasties, baked goods, tea, coffee and soft drinks, confectionery, magazines, newspapers and CDs.

As well as operating the food & beverage outlets within the terminal, BTA also offers onboard catering services to eight airlines.
“We closely follow the requirements and expectations of our guests and create concepts accordingly,” said BTA CEO Sadettin Cesur.
“We will apply the same in Zagreb. Whilst providing service with our popular concepts such as Cakes&Bakes, Needstop, Brewmark and POM, we will also introduce Antonia, which offers home-made natural ice-creams, boutique bakery products and quality coffees and Spread, which reflects the variety and vitality of the world’s street food, to our guests at Zagreb Airport for the first time. BTA will provide service to an average of 2,500 guests per day.”
