Last year’s Cannes event showcased 452 exhibiting companies, representing thousands of brands, and attracted more than 5,200 trade visitors, up +4% on the previous year. This year’s show is expected to be bigger still. Such is the demand for space that a new permanent Bay Village has been built to replace the temporary 800sq m Crystal Village which was used in 2004 and 2005. The 1,345sq m Bay Village brings the total exhibition space at the Palais des Festivals to 19,000sq m.
