Coty adds a sweet layer to Kylie Cosmetics fragrance offer with dessert-inspired hair and body mists

Anyone for dessert? Coty expands the Kylie Cosmetics’ Hair & Body Mists line with three new scents based on popular chocolate, vanilla and caramel sweet dishes

Kylie Cosmetics (Coty) has introduced a trio of dessert-inspired Hair & Body Mists, marking the latest expansion of the brand’s growing fragrance portfolio.

The range launched in Europe and Americas travel retail at the beginning of November, to be followed by an Asia Pacific travel retail launch on 1 December.

The gourmand collection comprises the Sweet Éclair, Vanilla Dew and Caramel Cloud scents, all featuring confectionery-inspired notes.

The mists offer lightweight, cloud-like textures with smooth to creamy and airy olfactory profiles. Formulated with glycerin the vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologically tested scents hydrate the skin without leaving a sticky finish.

Sweet Éclair is a warm, velvety gourmand offering inspired by chocolate patisseries. Bergamot and Chantilly top notes are followed by a heart of whipped chocolate cream and freesia, settling into vanilla and woody amber accords.

Just desserts: The collection introduces lightweight, glycerin-infused mists, supporting Coty’s continued expansion into sensorial, multi-use fragrance formats

Vanilla Dew combines milk accord and fresh water lilies with tea flower and almond at the heart. Tonka bean and blue vanilla add depth and warmth to the clean, floral-gourmand profile.

Caramel Cloud delivers a nutty, buttery fragrance with an amber-gourmand signature. Almond and pistachio butter top notes lead into caramel and brown sugar, finishing with soft musk and vanilla extract for a smooth, cosy dry-down.

Commenting on the launch, Founder Kylie Jenner said, “We’ve seen such a great response to our first two fragrance launches, so I’m really excited to add Hair & Body Mists to the portfolio.

“These mists are playful yet elevated, and each of them is infused with vanilla – which has always been one of my favourite notes.”

The launch strengthens Kylie Cosmetics’ presence in the body mists space as Coty deepens investments in prestige scents and perfume mists to maintain fragrance leadership across price tiers from “US$5 to US$500”.

According to Coty, the misting category responds to continued demand for expressive, sensorial formats that transition easily between beauty categories.

In a recent earnings call, Coty CEO Sue Y. Nabi said: “Two of the fastest-growing fragrance sub-segments are ultra-premium fragrances and fragrance mists, positioned at the high and low end of price points, respectively. We see substantial room to grow in both ultra-premium and mists segments and are committed to capturing our fair share over time.

“This approach positions Coty to lead in emerging scenting opportunities, creating incremental growth platforms that extend the reach and relevance of our fragrance brands.”
