GERMANY. Thomas Henningsen is to leave his role as Global Travel Retail Manager of Puma later this month to take on new challenges after two years at the helm of the travel retail department.
The company is in the process of completing the handover process and will introduce only minor changes to the existing set-up, which will be communicated before Henningsen’s leaving date of 30 April.
In a message to his business partners, colleagues and friends, Henningsen said: “The time has come for me to hand over the Puma Travel Retail torch after two successful and unforgettable years.
“Thanks to you we can celebrate that Puma is a success in travel retail. During the past two years we have increased our points of sale by more than +90%. We have increased our footprint by around +100%. Despite the current economic climate we are continuing our expansion in key international airports around the world.”
