Travel Blue returns to IAADFS with extended accessories range

UK. Travel Blue is returning to the IAADFS Duty Free show of the Americas (Stand number: 2404) after a five-year absence with several new and innovative products designed to make travelling less stressful.

“We decided the time was right to return to Orlando,” said Travel Blue Head of Travel Retail Jonathan Smith. “The importance of trade shows such as this is irrefutable and, as a company, we have opened many new accounts following our presence at TFWA Asia Pacific and TFWA World Exhibition over the past year.

“With our domestic distribution for the Americas showing strong growth over the past 12 months, exhibiting at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas seemed an obvious decision to make – we see vast potential for Travel Blue in the region, for the long term.”

New to the offer is a range of laptop bags that is designed to hold everything the traveller needs to take their work with them everywhere they go. Along with multiple zipped pockets for carrying stationery, important documents, business cards, and credit cards, the bags come with a detachable shoulder strap for easy carrying along with a saddle strap to securely fasten the bag to trolleys.

Also being launched is Travel Blue’s new range of luggage accessories. The new Neon Name Tags make the process of identifying luggage much easier. The tags come in three different colours – neon purple, neon green and neon yellow – and can be easily attached to a suitcase.

A variety of locks is also being introduced as part of Travel Blue’s security collection. These include combination locks as well as padlocks which come in a variety of colours including coal black, yellow, sky blue, turquoise, cadmium red, spring green and gold. Travel Blue said these locks are accepted and recognised by the American Transportation Security Administration (TSA), meaning that TSA personnel can check luggage without causing any damage to the lock.

Two new ear phone products also join the line-up: volume control and retractable. Both come complete with a padded pouch for storing devices e.g. camera, MP3 player or mobile phone. There is also an additional pocket for storing credit cards, money or keys. This also comes with a belt loop so the pouch can be secured onto the user’s clothing.

Travel Blue products include their Free-Lost-Found service, which allows the consumer to trace and find their valuables all over the world. This service is completely free of charge for customers and consumers alike, which Travel Blue believes is a real added value for travellers.
