UK. Travel hospitality operator TRG Concessions (TRGC) has signed an exclusive development agreement with Jones the Grocer to introduce the food & beverage concept across the UK rail network, beginning with a location opened today at London Waterloo.
The agreement marks an expansion of the partnership between the two companies beyond airports and into the UK rail channel.

TRGC and Jones the Grocer previously partnered to open two outlets at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 in 2024.
Founded in Australia in 1996 and now headquartered in Dubai, Jones the Grocer has developed an international footprint that includes locations at several leading airports, including major travel hubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Riyadh.
Its proposition centres on freshly prepared food, open kitchens and its ‘gourmet food for everyday living’ positioning.

Combining dine-in and grab-and-go, ihe London Waterloo outlet offers an all-day menu spanning breakfast to evening, including freshly prepared sandwiches, bakery products, hot dishes and speciality coffee.
The offer also caters to weekend brunch and business lunch occasions.
According to the partners, the format has been tailored to the demands of high-traffic travel locations, with an emphasis on speed of service, operational efficiency and consistency while retaining the brand’s food quality credentials.

Jones the Grocer CEO Yunib Siddiqui commented: “Expanding into UK rail is a natural next step in the evolution of the brand within travel environments.
“This partnership enables us to introduce Jones the Grocer to a new, high-frequency audience through a format that is both relevant and scalable.
“With TRGC’s operational expertise, we are well positioned to deliver a consistent, quality-driven experience in this channel.”

TRGC CEO Jonathan Knight said: “We’re really pleased to be building on our existing partnership with Jones the Grocer and bringing the brand into UK rail, starting with Waterloo.
“It’s a concept we know works well in travel environments, and one where we see real long-term potential as we expand beyond airports.
“We’ve built a strong relationship with Yunib and the team through our airport locations, and this next step feels like a natural progression.
“Waterloo gives us a great platform to launch from, with strong potential to grow the concept across further locations.”
