TÜRKIYE. Korhan Öz, who has served as interim CEO since April, has been officially appointed as the CEO of Unifree Duty Free.
Öz has over 20 years of experience in the retail sector. He has expertise in various areas, including strategy formulation and implementation, growth and profitability studies, board memberships, public offerings, and finance leadership.
In this role, Öz will focus on advancing Unifree Duty Free’s position in travel retail and improving the shopping experience for customers.
Additionally, Dr Zahide Altunbaş Sancak has been appointed as Unifree Duty Free Board Member.
Sancak completed her undergraduate law education at Istanbul Bilgi University and received her Master’s degree from Harvard Law School. She has completed her doctorate in private law. ✈
