Waldemar Behn launches Danzka website in Russian and Chinese

Family-owned spirits company Waldemar Behn has launched Chinese and Russian language versions of Danzka Vodka’s website.

The different language options can be chosen from a tab at the top of the landing page on www.danzka.com.

Waldemar Behn said the launch marks a new milestone for the company, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. “It is the culmination of many months’ work and dedicated effort, and reflects the expanding global reach of the brand,” the company noted.

Danzka is currently number 22 in the IWSR’s list of top 100 spirits brands in travel retail.

In other news, Waldemar Behn has hailed the success of Danzka’s latest release, Danzka The Spirit.

Waldemar Behn CEO Rüdiger Behn said: “Danzka The Spirit has delivered an excellent performance in Asia, Europe and the CIS region, with +19% uplift in Moscow. We are now moving forward with the next phase of the Danzka The Spirit launch in the Americas with Dufry, in the second quarter of 2018, and are in the process of rolling it out in Australia.”

Waldemar Behn recently created the Family Brands Alliance, an informal grouping to help fellow family-owned, independent drinks firms enter the travel retail channel. Italian Limoncello specialist Pallini was the first company to join the Alliance.
