CHINA. Xi’an Xianyang International Airport is hosting a ‘National Music & Culture Week’, combining artistic performances and promotions from commercial tenants as it serves passengers travelling during the Golden Week holiday.
The airport, which described the event as “the largest cultural and commercial event ever taking place at an airport in Western China”, is staging nine daily performances on three stages in the main commercial zone of Terminal 3.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport COO Wolfgang Weil said: “I am delighted that our tenants together with our airport team could choreograph such an unprecedented visual and audio feast.
“Our passengers can enjoy traditional Zhang Qian Tong dance, music and ancient music performances during the entire Golden Week.”
Golden Week runs for seven days from Chinese National Day, which is celebrated today (1 October).
