YSL unveils debut travel retail exclusive make-up palette

FRANCE. The L’Oréal group has unveiled the debut travel retail exclusive make-up palette from the house of Yves Saint Laurent. It will be available in European travel retail from June, before rolling out to Asia and the Americas in July. The palette will be available in airport doors and onboard selected airlines.

The palette, created by YSL International Make-up Artist Lloyd Simmonds, is presented in a portable, ultra-flat fuchsia case adorned with a golden YSL logo. The colours within are a combination of pink, purple and brown. “I wanted to offer the dream of”¦ journeys in a rich colour palette of purple, violets and fuchsias, like bougainvilleas in the winter or summer sunshine,” Simmonds explained.

The palette features seven shades, three applicators and a wide integral mirror. The shades comprise a pastel pink blusher/highlighter, three eye shadows (gold-speckled purple, cashmere brown, Parma pink and taffeta pink), and two lipsticks (a signature YSL fuchsia and a lighter, sparkling pink).
