
SWITZERLAND. Zurich Airport retail and dining turnover reached CHF307 million (US$377 million) in the first six months of 2026, a rise of +3.9% year-on-year.
Airside sales climbed by +9.1% with landside sales slipping -3.1% compared to H1 2025.
The overall commercial increase lagged behind passenger traffic growth of +5.6% year-on-year to 15.8 million in the half, though as the figures show, airside sales far outperformed passenger volumes in the period. Landside sales are currently held back by store closures amid a major programme of renovations that will continue over the next 18 months.
Airside spend per departing passenger climbed +3.3% to reach CHF23.50 (US$28.86) in the period.

In June alone, commercial turnover reached CHF57 million (US$70 million), which was flat year-on-year, while passenger traffic slipped -0.3% to 2.9 million.
Airside spend per departing passenger reached CHF24.80 (US$30.45), up by an encouraging +5.2% year-on-year. ✈
