L’Oréal Group Travel Retail has announced two key appointments.
Richard Cymberg has been named Clients Management Director. The worldwide position (effective immediately) covers all the group’s divisions and brands, including L’Oréal Paris, L’Oréal Luxe Division, The Body shop, Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Kérastase.

“Cymberg has a wide and varied knowledge of the L’Oréal Group where he has had numerous high responsibilities throughout a career of more than 30 years,” noted the company, in a statement. “In collaboration with our subsidiaries, [he] will continue to reinforce all the dimensions of our partnership with retailers, to globalise our approach and our action plans, and to build with them the category captain or innovation projects in the channel.”
In other news, John Mangan has been named General Manager Travel Retail Europe-Middle East-Africa-India for L’Oréal, replacing Anne Valentin.
Mangan was previously General Manager within the L’Oréal Luxe UK subsidiary, and has worked in the L’Oréal Luxe EMEA local market. Prior to that, he was an Area Manager at L’Oréal Travel Retail from 2000 to 2005.
Mangan’s appointment is effective from 1 November.
