Clinique has extended its Repairwear franchise with two new anti-ageing treatments. Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream is being introduced to travel retail worldwide this month, while Repairwear Anti-Gravity Eye Cream is rolling out now in the Americas.
Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream is described as a targeted overnight treatment that helps visibly tone and lift from cheeks to jaw, and create a new smoothness in the neckline – among the first areas to show age.
The cream-gel formula features eight de-ageing ingredients to help skin “rebound”, according to Clinique. These help to support skin during its sleep cycle, when the repair ability peaks, thereby encouraging natural skin cell regeneration.
Collagen boosters such as Centella Asiatica, whey protein and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 are among the key components. These are complemented by white birch extract to counter environmental damage, vitamin C for its anti-oxidant properties and murumuru butter to prevent dehydration.
Clinique Repairwear Anti-Gravity Eye Cream (pictured) is described as a targeted treatment for eyes that works to firm, brighten, and hydrate. It instantly helps to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, thanks to a blend of mica and special optical diffusers.
Barley and wheatgerm extract help to keep the “bonds” between surface cells intact and well organised, resulting in smoother, firmer skin with better “cushion”, Clinique maintains. In addition, humectants such as sodium hyaluronate deliver moisture to keep skin plump, firm and comfortable. Anti-oxidants, sucrose and caffeine prevent irritation and soothe skin.
