HONG KONG. King Power Hong Kong-owned French jewellery brand, Agatha unveiled its new look at the opening of its local flagship store in Times Square, Hong Kong, on 1 September.
As reported, the opening is part of an ambitious rejuvenation campaign for Agatha. To reach and gain new consumers, the brand plans several product and store projects over the coming months.
The Hong Kong event was attended by media, celebrities, partners and guests. New Chief Operating Officer Diego Giacomini was on hand, together with Peter Tsang, Executive Director of Agatha China and Cara Cheung, GM of Agatha Asia Pacific
Welcoming guests, Agatha Paris Chairman Sunil Tuli (who is also King Power HK’s Managing Director of Duty Free and Travel Retail), spoke briefly about the iconic brand and the company’s rejuvenation plan.
Agatha Paris was founded by Michel Quiniou in Paris in 1974. He launched a line of fashion jewellery with an unusual goal in mind: to make chic accessible, Tuli said.
Since then, Agatha has offered affordable jewels, based on a combination of creativity, fashion inspiration and ‘cheeky’ spirit.
In 2006 Agatha was acquired by King Power Group (HK), creating the platform for global expansion and the momentum to become an international reference in fashion jewellery.
With more than 350 POS in the world, Agatha is now developing its network beyond Europe throughout Asia and the Middle East – with travel retail a key focus.
Agatha will present its new collection in TFWA Cannes this year.
