INTERNATIONAL. A.S. Watson Group (ASW) Chief Operating Officer and A.S. Watson Asia & Europe Chief Executive Officer Malina Ngai is the first Knowledge Hub speaker to be announced for the forthcoming Beauty Tech Live event, set for 12-16 April 2021.
Beauty Tech Live is a pioneering virtual event that will showcase the joint worlds of beauty and technology. It is the first virtual expo of its kind in the sector, bringing together the latest tech innovations and solutions across all stakeholders in the beauty industry.
The event is being organised by the newly formed Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company in partnership with leading B2B beauty title BW Confidential.
ASW is a leading global health and beauty retailer, bringing in annual revenues of US$20 billion, across a vast retail network of 16,000 offline and online stores. The company has 12 retail brands in 27 markets in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Ngai joined the company in 2001 from its parent company CK Hutchinson (formerly known as Hutchinson Whampoa). In December 2013, Ngai was named Group Chief Operating Officer. She was named CEO of the Europe and Asia Pacific regions in November 2019.
Ngai drives digital transformation, builds big data analytics capabilities, develops customer strategy and fosters strategic partnerships with both international suppliers and technology companies in her leadership role at ASW.
