JFKIAT President & CEO Roel Huinink joins powerful speaker list for Summit of the Americas

Roel Huinink: Well known in the airport and travel retail world through senior roles at Schiphol Group

AMERICAS. Roel Huinink, President & CEO of JFKIAT, which manages Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International, is the latest senior airport figure confirmed to speak in the Knowledge Hub at the Summit of the Americas – A Virtual Experience, which takes place on 5-9 April.

As reported, the all-digital Summit is being organised by the International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) and Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL) in partnership with The Moodie Davitt Report (which organised the successful Virtual Travel Retail Expo from 12-16 October).

Visitor registration (free to all travel retailers and airport companies) is open at the official event website, which is now live.

Huinink leads the management team at Terminal 4 (the biggest of the JFK terminals) and is responsible for developing, communicating and executing strategic and tactical plans for T4.

He is well known in the airport commercial and travel retail world from previous roles, notably at Royal Schiphol Group (whose Schiphol USA affiliate owns JFKIAT).

He was Managing Director of Arlanda Schiphol Development Company, an airport retail management partnership in Sweden, and also acted as Director of Parking & Mobility Services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Separately, he served on the management board of Norway-based travel and high street retailer Airport Retail Group.
