INDONESIA. PT Angkasa Pura I, which operates 16 airports across Indonesia, is inviting potential business partners to provide a range of commercial services at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, one of the country’s largest gateways.
The selection process for partners at Terminal 2 covers the following categories:
– Food & Beverage: Two packages
– Retail: Four packages
– Duty Free: One package
– Lounge: One package
– Services: Nine packages
All contract durations are five years, with the announcement of selected partners expected in August.
PT Angkasa Pura I said Juanda International Airport has experienced “remarkable” growth of +30% compared with before the COVID-19 pandemic, underscoring its pivotal role in the region’s aviation and economic landscape.
The airport serves as the primary gateway to East Java, offering what the airport authority describe as “unparalleled access to a diverse and expanding market”.
As of December 2023, the airport served ten domestic airlines and 12 international carriers, connecting multiple cities across Indonesia and extending to several cities in Asia and the Middle East, including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Jeddah.
Interested parties are invited to submit their applications and letters of interest between 10 and 25 June.
