FINLAND. Fazer Café is partnering with SSP Finland to launch a location at Helsinki Airport. It will offer travellers a premium Finnish café experience.
Serving Fazer’s signature classics and seasonal items, the airside café will offer options for breakfast, lunch and takeaway.
The venue will also debut newly launched Fazer sweets, which will be available for gifting.
The café will be positioned next to large runway-facing windows and a family play area.

Its launch follows a series of commercial upgrades at Helsinki Airport, recently named Commercial Space of the Year in the 2025 NCSC Awards Finland.
Helsinki Airport operator Finavia noted Fazer Café’s addition is part of its broader effort to align airport services with passenger preferences and top-tier brand partnerships.
Finavia Vice President, Commercial Business Nora Immonen said: “Fazer Café has been at the top of passengers’ wish list at Helsinki Airport for a long time and we are pleased that this wish will finally be fulfilled. Fazer Café will enrich the airport’s café offering with its Finnish touch and strong brand.”
Fazer Retail Head Miika Kostilainen commented: “This is exactly where Fazer Café should be. Our concept is based on craftsmanship, Finnish ingredients and an understanding of our customers’ needs. We believe that there is room at the airport for an iconic Finnish café that combines quality, friendly service and an enjoyable overall experience.”
SSP Finland Managing Director Elena Heiska said: “We are very pleased about the cooperation with Fazer and look forward to the opening. We are particularly proud that Fazer has trusted us with its 134-year-old brand.”
