
TAIWAN. EVERRICH Duty Free has earned international recognition at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), with three co-developed Taiwanese spirits receiving major awards.
Kinmen Kaoliang’s (KKL) The Master Blender Aged 10 Years Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor and Ever Reserve Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor won Double Gold medals, while Kavalan’s Rhythm of Taiwan Collection – Ocean Single Malt Whisky took Gold.

The achievements highlight both the growing international appeal of Taiwanese spirits and EVERRICH Duty Free’s expertise in product development and brand collaboration.

The retailer collaborates with leading Taiwanese brands to develop travel retail-exclusive (TREX) products based on international traveller trends and category insights.
These TREXs are tailored to traveller needs while incorporating distinctive brand characteristics and Taiwanese cultural elements, helping to create a differentiated retail offer.
Recognised globally for its blind-tasting format, the SFWSC grants Double Gold status only to entries that receive Gold ratings from every member of the judging panel. The latest wins underscore the quality of the partner distillers’ craftsmanship and EVERRICH’s ability to co-create products.

These products are designed to encourage discovery in the travel retail environment, supported by themed displays, brand storytelling and tasting experiences across airport locations.
At Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 1, a dedicated showcase recreates the ageing environment of Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, offering travellers deeper insight into Taiwan’s cultural heritage and craftsmanship.
EVERRICH highlighted the role of duty-free stores as a gateway to Taiwan, offering international travellers an introduction to the island’s culture and craftsmanship alongside the retail experience.
The retailer said it will continue leveraging its market insights and retail expertise to develop exclusive products in partnership with leading Taiwanese brands.
Additionally EVERRICH pledged to continue using airport retail as a platform to elevate Taiwan’s culture and craftsmanship on the global stage, delivering experiences that resonate with travellers. ✈
