UK. Bristol Airport has revealed four new food & beverage concepts set to open as part of the next phase of its £400 million (US$542 million) transformation programme, including the airport debut of home-grown hospitality brand Cosy Club.
Bill’s, Cosy Club, Wagamama and the Tap + Brew Bar and Kitchen will form part of the first phase of the airport’s revamped departure lounge, with openings scheduled across summer and autumn 2027.
Bristol Airport Head of Retail Kate Gwyther added: “We’re delighted to welcome these exciting and much-loved restaurants to Bristol Airport. We’re on a mission to offer our customers some really great options to suit their tastebuds, dietary requirements, time and pocket.
“We really hope they will be spoilt for choice and feel their holiday can begin once they arrive at Bristol Airport whether that’s with breakfast, lunch or dinner.”
Bill’s will be the first of the four concepts to open, in early Summer 2027. Operated by Avolta, it will mark only the restaurant brand’s second UK airport location.
The all-day dining concept will cater to passengers across breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a menu featuring seasonal dishes and an extensive selection of Coeliac UK-approved gluten-free options.
The restaurant will offer plentiful seating and target a broad passenger demographic, from families and leisure travellers to business passengers.
Bill’s Managing Director Tom James added: “Bristol Airport is such an exciting project to be involved in. As a key travel hub with such a large catchment area, the development and growth of this fantastic airport is something we are very proud to be part of.
“Bill’s is finding a great new home in the airport environment, and the opportunity to delight the thousands of passengers from families to solo travellers travelling from Bristol each week is something we are really looking forward to.”

Avolta F&B UK Senior Coordinating Director Beth Brewster commented: “We are really excited to bring Bill’s to Bristol Airport, marking the brand’s second airport location in the UK. Bill’s is a well-loved restaurant concept, and its arrival reflects Avolta’s focus on delivering relevant, high-quality food and beverage experiences in the airport environment.
“We look forward to opening in 2027 and welcoming passengers to a new dining option that will enhance their journey through Bristol.”
Bristol-born Cosy Club will follow, marking the brand’s first airport location. The restaurant will be operated by TRG Concessions.
Cosy Club is part of Loungers Group, whose origins can be traced to the opening of its first Lounge on North Street, Bristol, in 2002. The group has since expanded its portfolio to include Cosy Club and Brightside and the soon to open Southville in Germany. It operates 37 Cosy Club restaurants across the UK.
The Bristol Airport menu will feature breakfasts, smaller plates and main dishes, alongside vegan and gluten-free choices and a dedicated children’s menu.
The offer will also underline the brand’s links to the Southwest through regional suppliers. These include Cornwall-based Baker Tom, which supplies Cosy Club’s monkey bread, and Philip Warren Butchers, which provides dry-aged, grass-fed beef for its burgers.
Loungers CEO Nick Collins commented: “We are really excited about Cosy Club opening in Bristol Airport. We think our all-day menu will represent a real step-up in terms of choice for travellers, and we are really chuffed that Bristol Airport chose us as a local Bristol business to open here.”

TRG Concessions will also operate Wagamama, which is scheduled to open next summer.
The restaurant will offer Wagamama favourites including curries, ramen and bao buns, complemented by vegan and children’s options. A breakfast selection targeting early-morning passengers will range from eggs and waffles to French toast and granola.
The Bristol location will retain familiar elements of the Wagamama concept, including communal benches and an open kitchen where passengers can watch dishes being prepared.
Wagamama Senior Vice President International Francisco Neves added: “We’re excited to be bringing Wagamama to even more travellers with the Bristol Airport opening. As demand grows for fresh, high-quality food while travelling, we’re proud to make the Wagamama experience accessible to more guests wherever their journey takes them.”
TRG Concessions CEO Jonathan Knight commented: “We’re delighted to be bringing Wagamama and the UK’s first airport Cosy Club to Bristol Airport. While each brand offers something different, they share a strong focus on great food, quality and experience. Together, they will give passengers even more choice and variety, while playing an important role in the airport’s evolving food and drink offer.”
The fourth concept, Tap + Brew Bar and Kitchen, will open in Autumn 2027. It will be operated by SSP UK & Ireland.

The bespoke bar and kitchen will place an emphasis on local provenance through a partnership with Bristol craft brewer Wiper and True. The drinks range will include locally produced craft beers and cider alongside established beer brands, seasonal specials, cocktails and low- and no-alcohol options.
Tap + Brew will feature an industrial-inspired design incorporating copper tanks and locally themed artwork. A mixture of leather seating, bar stools, tables and standing areas will cater to solo passengers, couples and larger groups.
The food offer will include pub-style dishes such as fish and chips, burgers and loaded nachos, alongside breakfast choices ranging from a full English to smashed avocado on toast.
SSP UK & Ireland Chief Property and Business Development Officer Stuart Buchanan commented: “In the past 12 months, we’ve invested significantly in our offer at Bristol Airport and are excited to continue this growth with our newest Tap + Brew bar from our own brand portfolio.
“The airport’s transformation journey marks a new era of travel to, from and within Bristol, and we’re delighted to be at the forefront of what it has to offer for customers living in and visiting the city.”
The four openings represent the first wave of F&B announcements linked to the airport’s departure lounge redevelopment. Further concepts are due to be unveiled in 2027, spanning coffee shops, fast-food outlets, grab-and-go formats and premium bars.
Among the planned additions is a hidden speakeasy bar – a first for Bristol Airport.
The terminal transformation began at the end of 2025, with more than £60 million (US$80 million) being invested specifically to improve the customer experience.

All commercial units within the redesigned area will be new. The redevelopment will almost double the number of shops and restaurants, with 17 additional units incorporated into the plans, including premium retail brands.
The transformed departure lounge will also offer around +20% more general airport seating, with the airport citing passenger comfort and dwell time as central considerations in the redesign.
As reported, Bristol Airport recently unveiled a public tender embracing ten new food & beverage units in the west country gateway’s departure lounge.
Gwyther added: “Bills is only at one other airport in the UK, and we know it’s going to be a massive hit with customers as will Cosy Club, as it’s such a popular independent restaurant group here in the Southwest. Wagamama, which is no stranger to airports, will also be a welcome addition.
“We know it will go down a storm with our customers. On top of this we will have a new larger bespoke bar and kitchen, which will feature locally brewed drinks. This is just the beginning of a very exciting transformation for our customers, creating a new level of shopping and dining at the airport. The departure lounge will feel much more inviting, spacious and brighter with more seats.”
