VIETNAM. Yesterday (19 September) was a red-letter day for Vietnam Duty Free as it officially opened its new operation at Noi Bai International Airport Terminal 2, gateway to the capital city Hanoi.
Noi Bai International is Vietnam’s second-busiest airport by passenger traffic after Tan Son Nhat International in Ho Chi Minh City.
“More than a place to shop before departure, it represents a new face of Vietnamese travel retail, ready to welcome travellers from around the world,” Vietnam Duty Free said of the 600sq m departures store offer.
“Spacious, contemporary and thoughtfully designed, the new Vietnam Duty Free store brings a fresh duty-free experience to Noi Bai.”
The offer includes liquor, tobacco, fragrances & cosmetics, handbags, luggage, eyewear, confectionery and toys.
International brands on offer include Dior, Gucci, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Jo Malone London, Coach, Michael Kors, Swarovski, Emporio Armani and G-Shock, plus leading spirits and tobacco labels.
Such global powerhouses are complemented by Vietnam Essence, which offers a curated selection of Vietnamese coffee, chocolate, fruits, confectionery and spirits, celebrating the country’s flavours and identity in a fresh, contemporary way.
To celebrate the opening, Vietnam Duty is offering up to -30% off selected items plus a local gift with purchase.
