Trick or treat: Haribo gets into the Halloween spirit with Moodie Davitt homepage makeover

Confectionery house Haribo is celebrating Halloween (31 October) with a colourful makeover of The Moodie Davitt Report desktop homepage, alongside an elegantly curated treatment of our mobile website.

The seasonal takeover puts the German brand in the spotlight ahead of an occasion closely associated with sweet treats and sharing.

The Halloween campaign comes amid Haribo’s continued focus on product innovation, shopper engagement and growth in travel retail.

Ahead of the recent TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, the confectionery specialist outlined its 2027 strategy, focused on recovery, execution and sustainability, alongside packaging developments to meet evolving European regulations.

The company has introduced 15 new SKUs in travel retail over the past three years, including seasonal and sense of place products. Its latest shopper research also highlights the growing importance of snacking, self-consumption and sharing over traditional gifting.

Bright, playful and built for interaction, the Haribo My CityTrip activation with Extime Duty Free at Paris Orly Airport turned travel retail into a destination for discovery and brand engagement

This focus on traveller preferences is reflected in innovations such as the travel retail-exclusive My CityTrip range, featuring gummies inspired by European landmarks.

The range was at the heart of Haribo’s summer campaign, part of its largest global travel retail activation to date, spanning more than 150 stores across 40 airports. My CityTrip also earned Gold in the Confectionery & Food category at The Moodie Davitt Report’s 2026 TREX Awards. ✈

Launched in March, Travel Parade forms part of Haribo’s ongoing push to develop products that bring greater relevance to evolving traveller tastes
