AUSTRALIA. Sydney Airport has expanded its premium passenger services portfolio with the introduction of Hosts, a personalised concierge offering for international travellers using Terminal 1.
The new service provides dedicated assistance for arriving, departing and transferring passengers, as the airport steps up its focus on convenience, passenger choice and the end-to-end travel experience.

Available to all international passengers, Hosts offers tailored support through key airport touchpoints.
For departing travellers, a dedicated host provides assistance from a designated meeting point through check-in, security screening and border processing, before escorting passengers to their lounge or departure gate.
Arriving passengers are met at the gate and guided through border formalities and baggage collection, with onward assistance to their preferred ground transport.

Sydney Airport Group Executive Commercial Mark Zaouk said the launch reflects growing demand for additional support, comfort and convenience, particularly among families, time-pressed travellers and passengers unfamiliar with the airport.
“We’re focused on making every journey through Sydney Airport as smooth and stress-free as possible,” he said.
The introduction of Hosts follows the recent launch of Fast Track and forms part of a broader strategy to expand premium passenger services at Australia’s busiest international gateway.
Zaouk said the airport’s focus remains on “giving travellers more choice, greater convenience and a smoother experience”.
Sydney Airport noted further premium services are in development as it seeks to broaden passenger choice and enhance the overall airport experience. ✈
