SPAIN. The Puig group has appointed Manuel Puig Rocha and Marc Puig Guash as new chief executive officers. Their predecessor, Javier Cano Cornide, will continue as chairman of the board of directors.
The group owns the fashion and beauty businesses of Paco Rabanne, Nina Ricci and Carolina Herrera, in addition to fragrance licenses for Hussein Chalayan and Comme des Garçons. It also has a joint venture for fragrances and cosmetics with Prada.
Both Manuel and Marc Puig (cousins who are members of the third generation of the Puig family to lead the group) will retain their previous titles, as president of Puig’s Prestige Beauty Brands and president of the fashion division, respectively. Puig’s third division – which handles fragrance and personal care – will continue to be headed by Carlos Iniesta.
