A spur to further success: Autogrill Group hails FAB Awards triumphs

INTERNATIONAL. Autogrill Group has hailed its success last week at the annual FAB Awards, where it picked up three global awards and further regional prizes. The FAB Conference & Awards are organised by The Moodie Davitt Report and sister title The Foodie Report. [A special Foodie Report e-Zine, out next week, will detail the results and even highlights in full].

As reported, Autogrill and HMSHost won the following major awards during the 22 June ceremony:

  • La Spirito de Vojagado – The spirit of travel, for the Creative Carbohydrates initiative;
  • The Wow Factor 2017 Award for Pier Zero, Helsinki Airport;
  • Airport Coffee/Non-Alcoholic Beverage Shop of the Year, for Starbucks at Los Angeles Airport (T6)

The Exki Takeaway at Brussels Airport concept won a Highly Commended award in the Food To Go category. Other regional awards included the top European prize for Marketing & Promotional Concept of the Year for Bistrot. Other regional prizes included:

  • Airport Upscale Dining Restaurant of the Year for Crystal Jade, Beijing Capital International Airport;
  • New Food & Beverage Concept of the Year, for Book & Bourbon, Louisville International Airport
  • Airport Food & Beverage Offer Best Reflecting ‘Sense of Place’, for Book & Bourbon, Louisville International Airport
