US. Sales and marketing company Aero-Cos International showed buyers its Alaska Smokehouse smoked salmon with a five-year shelf-life at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore.
The Alaska Smokehouse ready-to-serve range includes premium smoked salmon, lobster, shrimp and trout. No preservatives are used in the manufacturing process.
“This smoked salmon has a very long shelf life of five years, so a retailer can carry it in-store without any problems. You only have to refrigerate it after opening,” said Aero-Cos International President & CEO Nate Barbanel. “We also offer salmon spread and sticks in teriyaki and jerky flavours.”
A 4oz box of foil-packed smoked salmon retails at US$4.60. Multi-packs are available in packs of two or three, which come gift packaged in wooden boxes.
